How to Combine Email Accounts to Gmail

With the Gmail Mail Fetcher service you can configure your Gmail account to access and send email from up to five different email accounts. The Gmail Mail Fetcher utilizes POP3 access to download messages from Web-based, ISP and self-hosted email servers. You can also configure Gmail to send mail through your alternative email account, enabling you to manage every aspect of your email from within the Gmail interface. Combining all of your email accounts in to Gmail is a simple process that takes only a few minutes to complete.
Step 1
Sign in to your Gmail account.
Step 2
Click the settings gear icon at the top right and select "Mail Settings."
Step 3
Click "Add POP3 Email Account."
Step 4
Type your secondary email address in the text box and then click "Next Step." Gmail will automatically fetch connection details for most major email providers.
Step 5
Enter your secondary email account password in the "Password" text box.
Step 6
Confirm that the POP3 server is configured correctly. If you are configuring Gmail to manage major Web-based email, it will automatically fetch the POP3 server. If you are combining Gmail with an ISP-based POP3 account, you may need to contact your ISP to determine the PO3 server address. They often post this information at their websites.
Step 7
Configure secondary email account options such as whether to leave retrieved messages on the server, connection security settings, automatic Gmail labeling and whether new messages from your secondary account should skip the Gmail inbox.
Step 8
Click "Add Account."
Step 9
Click the radio button beside "Yes, I want to be able to send mail" and then click "Next Step."
Step 10
Enter your name or the name that you would like to appear in the "From" field of emails sent from your secondary account and then click "Next Step."
Step 11
Click the radio button beside "Send through Gmail" and then click "Next Step."
Step 12
Click "Send Verification."
Step 13
Click the confirmation link you receive in the secondary email account to activate the "Send As" functionality in Gmail. Your secondary email account is now completely integrated in Gmail.
